War Remembrance, Reflections Through Music

These songs invite deeper reflection; not just on war, but on the human cost that often remains unseen. We don't always look away by choice; sometimes, we've been gently steered away; from veterans carrying silent burdens, from those still in service who cannot speak openly, from others whose pain is quietly dismissed as "unsightly" or "not theirs to bear."

Service. War. Life beyond the uniform. These are not distant concepts, they are threads of our shared humanity. We must not take them lightly, nor push them aside as if they belong to someone else. We breathe the same air. We share the same world. We are, in truth, one people.

May we find the courage — and the humanity — to truly see one another, and to honor the weight of service, sacrifice, and suffering — not as distant stories, but as our collective reality.

Reflection

The following songs reflect on a soldier's longing for home during service in war; a chance to reflect on what is happening and why around one; reflection on how life cycles through time, events, and renewal, and lastly, reflection on world peace.
